Storage of Documents
Do I need to store my Will?
I often receive emails from companies acting on behalf of family members who are trying to locate missing Wills. In many cases, the family knows a Will was created but after the person has passed away, it simply can’t be found. If you’ve gone to the time and expense in preparing your legal documents, it’s vital to store them securely and ensure your executors know exactly where to find them.
I store my client Wills and other legal documents with the National Will Archive, where they are kept securely in fireproof vaults. This ensures they can be easily accessed when needed—whether by you, to make updates, or by your executors or attorneys when the time comes.
Your executors will each receive full storage details, giving them quick and easy access to the documents after your death.
Protect your important documents from being lost, destroyed, or tampered with, and give yourself peace of mind by keeping them safe and accessible.
