DO YOU NEED TO STORE YOUR WILL?
The simple answer is, it’s the safest option.
FACT-1 in 4 wills are never found!
I get emails all the time from companies who work on behalf of relatives searching for missing wills. They know they were written, but cannot locate them after a death. If you go to the time and expense of having documents drawn up it makes sense to keep them safe. I store all legal documents at the National Will Archive. They have thousands of documents stored safely in fireproof vaults that can be easily retrieved when needed.
Your executors each receive a storage card, so in the event of your death they can easily and quickly retrieve the documents.
You can put documents into storage, whether or not you have had them written by me. Doing so may save you many pounds in annual upkeep charges at solicitors firms or banks.
